Have you been seeking for a means to print gorgeous patterns that use many colors and can be applied to clothing made of polyester or cotton, regardless of their color? There is a good chance that EasySubli® heat transfer vinyl is the answer to all of your problems. The Sawgrass SG400 printer and the Siser® EasySubli® Inks, which may be found in this section, are compatible with this vinyl. How To Use Easy Subli?
This new iron-on sublimation material, Siser EasySubli, requires a slightly different method of application than our other varieties of heat transfer vinyl (HTV), so here is a little guide to help you get started with it!
Step 1: Print
After you have finished setting up your Sawgrass sublimation printer, you can prepare your file to be printed by using the cutter of your choice and the print/cut settings on your computer. Avoid reflecting your own image. EasySubli should be loaded into the printer with the shiny side facing up, and your file should be sent to the Sawgrass printer.
Step 2: Cure
When the printing of your design is complete, the colors may seem a bit muted; nevertheless, you need not be alarmed by this. After being applied, they will develop their full brilliance. However, you will first need to cure your EasySubli before you can cut it and apply it. To properly cure your vinyl, you will need to position it a few inches below your fully hot iron or heat press for one full minute.
Make your cuts
To complete the print and cut procedure, you will need to pass your design through your cutter once it has been thoroughly cured. DO NOT MIRROR. The following are the EasySubli cut settings that may be used with Silhouette:
Blade 3 with a speed of 8 and a force of 15.
Step 4: Mask (or don’t!)
In order to correctly apply any design that consists of several elements, you will need to be sure to acquire the high-tack EasySubli mask. If the design you want to put on your shirt is a single piece, you may simply remove it by hand from its backing and position it where you want it on your shirt. If you are going to use a mask, you should carefully position it over your design after you have chopped and weeded it, and then apply hard pressure so that the mask completely covers your pattern. When you are through applying the mask, take the vinyl off of its plastic backing and put it where you want it on your clothing.
Step 5: Put It To Use
EasySubli should be applied with a heat press set to 310 degrees for 10–15 seconds. Always make sure to increase your temperature 5-10 degrees higher than the suggested temperature when you are using a Cricut EasyPress. Press for 30 seconds on one side, making sure to turn over your garment and pressing a second time from the reverse side. Apply the same technique using a home iron that has been adjusted to the cotton/linen setting.
Is there a direct printing option on EasySubli?
Siser has come up with a brand new and unique heat transfer vinyl that can be sublimated, and it’s called EasySubli. Not only can EasySubli be directly printed on using your Sawgrass sublimation system, but it can also be applied to cotton, rayon, and cotton/poly mix fabrics. Polyester fabrics are the only ones that EasySubli cannot be applied to.
When printing, do you print on the front or back of EasySubli?
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRINTING: You will find that the EasySubli has a side that is smooth and a side that is textured. You will print on the side that has the texture. Your design will be printed on the textured side of the EasySubli if you load it into your printer in the correct orientation. This indicates that you should load the EasySubli with the shiny side facing up for Sawgrass printers.
How many times can the EasySubli be washed before it wears out?
*SNA conducts product evaluations using up to 25 wash/dry cycles on average. Between 5 and 10 washings, most garments begin to exhibit obvious signs of wear and tear.
How long do you hold the EasySubli button for?
EasySubli should be applied with a heat press set to 310 degrees for 10–15 seconds. Always make sure to increase your temperature 5-10 degrees higher than the suggested temperature when you are using a Cricut EasyPress. Press for 30 seconds on one side, making sure to turn over your garment and pressing a second time from the reverse side.
Where do printable HTV and EasySubli stand in comparison to one another?
When compared to an inkjet printed heat transfer for darks that has a more plastic-like feel, EasySubli HTV has a texture that is noticeably more comfortable to the touch. At the moment, the dimensions of the EasySubli sheets that may be purchased are 8.4″ x 11″. There are a variety of printable inkjet HTV materials that are offered in sheets of 11 inches by 17 inches.
With EasySubli, what kind of ink do you recommend using?
Sawgrass SubliJet ink is compatible with Siser EasySubli HTV as well as all other sublimation inks and printers, including those from other manufacturers (which is what I used for this EasySubli transfer).
